Museums

1.Tokyo Metropolitan Museum

Located in Tokyo,Japan, the museum holds five exhibits dedicating japanese art. In 2019 they held a exhibit for a well known artist of the name Gustave Klimt. If you are a big fan of Okamoto's work then you will love to take a visist to the museum or if you never seen japanese art this is the place to visit.

2.Tokorozawa Sakura Town Kadokawa Culture Museum

Have you ever seen a library, art gallery and a museum all in one place? Well look no further, Tokorozawa deisgned by the famous architect Kengo kuma, gives you tree attractions you could viisit in one building.

The multi-purpose complex includes museums, a beautiful modern shrine, anime hotel, year-round events and festivities, shopping, karaoke and net cafe, and some great ramen! SAKURA TOWN also hosts anime, manga and gaming related events and exhibitions throughout the year. With plenty to see and do, it’s a great option for a half-day trip or even overnight stay.

Meiji Jingu Museum

Another building designed by Kengo Kuma, the Meiji Jingu Museum. The museum displays articles used by or associated with Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken in 3,200 square meter of display space spread over two floors.

Historical and Cultural

1.Meiji Shrine

shrine dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. Located just beside the JR Yamanote Line's busy Harajuku Station, Meiji Shrine and the adjacent Yoyogi Park make up a large forested area within the densely built-up city. The spacious shrine grounds offer walking paths that are great for a relaxing stroll. The shrine was completed and dedicated to the Emperor Meiji and the Empress Shoken in 1920, eight years after the passing of the emperor and six years after the passing of the empress.

2.Sensō-ji Temple

An Ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. Formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II.

3.The Imperial Palace

The imperial palace is themain residence of emperor of japan and marks the center of Tokyo and the symbolic heart of Japan. You can walk around the outside of the Imperial Palace and enjoy views of the lovely moats, bridges and walls of the Palace

4.Tokyo Skytree

The worlds tallest building sitting at 634 meters.The Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010.
